My First London Event! MCM Comic Con

Well, what a week that was!  I just finished trading at MCM London, one of the biggest shows of the year- but surprisingly, I didn't actually do very well. But I don't even care! Because I had so much fun in London with my friends.

We stayed at Notting Hill, which is so beautiful by the way, I felt like I was in a 90's rom com walking down the street. We found the cutest little breakfast bar and had some of the best eggs we've ever had in our lives. They even gave us our coffee in those cute little aesthetic coffee cups with the latte art on top. I felt so boujee lol

The coffee was just better, the food was better, I didn't have one bad meal in London. If you arent amazing YOU'RE OUT. Shut down in 4 months! lol Every single meal I had was AMAZING. But maybe I'm just Scottish trash and anything will impress me haha

We went to a cowboy bar too, it wasn't called a cowboy bar but thats what we were calling it because it had BBQ ribs and Pulled Bork and BRISKET. Doesn't that just scream Yee haw!!

And you can't go to London without going to a show! We went to see HERCULES, and it was amazing! All the singers and dancers were so incredibly talented, theres just nothing like seeing these shows in London where they have all that money for the production. We're just gutted we missed the Paddington premiere because we would've definitely gone to see that instead!

So, onto the reason you're all probably reading. MCM London. Well.. It was disappointing. I basically just covered my costs and a bit more, London is a very expensive city so I think I probably spent more just on doing stuff and eating out, but I honestly had such a good time there I'm not too bummed about it. I was in a pretty bad spot in the hall, and I found that not many people were spending, so it was a very quiet show. But just goes to show you that not every show can be a successful one, sometimes its just not a good weekend but you can still make the most of it.

Till next time,

Bilby xx
