Hi, I'm Bilby!

Or, Emma. But Emma is a boring name, so most artist friends call me Bilby! Welcome to my website where you can browse all of my creations and find my blog where I share the most recent updates about events, projects and my life in general. I am an illustrator based in Glasgow, Scotland where I live with my husband, my son and my two sausage dogs, Fievel & Fritzi. My life is a bit chaotic between being a wife, a mother and a business owner, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

It All Started At...

BronyScot! For anyone who doesn't know, BronyScot is a My Little Pony convention in Scotland dedicated entirely to the show. I first attended in 2014 in Edinburgh and was inspired so much by all the amazing artists I saw at Artists Alley there. This is what initially introduced me to the concept of creating and selling my own products. Eventually, I booked myself a vendor table at BronyScot and created an acrylic charm collection of the My Little Pony characters as Seaponies. After this, I was hooked and began planning more products to make and sell at other conventions across the country.

Then came Animation...

I began studying 3D Animation at college in 2017 and quickly discovered I did not like working in 3D software's. I wanted to create traditional animation, but sadly that is a dying artform and finding courses to study it was difficult. It was around that time I realized I could create products dedicated to all the amazing animated films of the past, for animation lovers like myself. So, Once Upon an Animation was created, my biggest and most successcul collection to date! It gave me the real kick to quit my day job and go full time with my artwork and product design, so I did!

Now I love Comic Cons!

Every other weekend I travel all over the country selling my designs at markets and comic cons, giving everyone a chance to buy my items without having to pay for shipping and getting some amazing bulk deals that I only offer at in person events! I even have some Con Exclusive products that aren't available online! If I had told myself 10 years ago that this is what I'd be doing with my life, I wouldn't have believed myself. Its truly a dream come true getting to create artwork every day, and seeing how much other people love it too!
